        Configuring a POP3 E-mail account using Microsoft Outlook  
 
 
1. On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
2. Select "Add a new e-mail account"

Click "Next"

 

3. Select "POP3"

Click "Next"

 

 

4. Fill in the following fields::

Your name

Your email address

Your username (as provided)

Your Password (as provided)

Incoming  server (your domainname)

Outgoing  server (your domainname)

Click "Next" to finish.

 

 

5. On the Tools menu, click "Options"

 

6. Select the "Mail Setup" Tab

Check the Box by "Send immediately when connected"

Click the "Send/Receive..." Button

 

 

7. Check the Box by "Schedule an automatic send receive every"

Set the number of minutes (anything from 5 to 30 minutes)

Click "Close"

 

 

8. Send and receive mail using your new email account.
